Nice breakdown, very informative. I don't think you gave SlickRun enough of a write-up, though. The info you wrote for Speed Launch sounds just like SlickRun. With SlickRun, you create 'Magic Words' that you type in instead of trying to remember some shortcut key combinations. You can drag just about anything to it to create new magic words, too. SlickJot is my favourite feature, too. Unfortunately it saves to a local file, so if you use more than one laptop (like I do), you're having to manually keep them in sync, etc. I'm looking to see if I can tell it to save the file online, then it will be even more useful! Otherwise, I'll make my own tool called 'WebJot'... Cheers!

I understand what you mean but by the time you press Alt+Space to then press something else to open an app, I press the key combination I want and open what I want. I can also add urls directly and not have to add them to the favorites for them to be indexed. I can see advantages on both of them but I guess SuperLauncher is more fit to my need for speed.

Best,
Alex

Not really. SuperLauncher is not an indexer, but why would you want your entire computer to be indexed when you can add only what you want by drag and drop? Plus it gets you where you wanna go fast with zero hassle, isn't that the whole purpose of a launcher? So, I guess it is safe to say that they are similar software, all designed to accelerate and uncomplicate the user experience on the PC, and that SuperLauncher does an explendide job doing it.

SuperLauncher is the best launcher ever! SuperLauncher launches applications with hotkeys or one click of the mouse but the twist about it is that you add new shortcuts by drag and drop. You simlpy drag and drop applications, websites, files, or folders, and wizards guide you through adding hotkeys or one-click shortcuts. You can even schedule shortcuts.

I use it and I totally recommend it.

You can find SuperLauncher here:
