A interesting story

May 07, 08 by Gabi Solomon

There once was a boy that was born with a very bad disease. There was no cure for his condition. He was 17 but could die at any moment. He lived in his house under the permenant supervision of his mother.

Tired of sitting only inside, he decided to go out at least one. He asked his mother permission, which agreed to it.
Walking trough his neighborhood, he was looking at the people and the stores in his path. Arriving near a music store, he looked trough the store window and saw a beautifull young girl, who looked his age. It was love at first sight.

He opened the store door, and couldnt take his eyes off the young girl. Walking slowly he approaches the counter where the girl was at. She looked at him and with a big smile on her face asked him :

“Can i help you?”

In this moment he thought this was the most beatifull smile he saw in his whole life. He felt the erge to kiss her. Stammering, he managed to say :

” Yes ……..mmmmmmm……….. ummmmmm. I would like to buy a CD.”

With ought giving it to much thought, he grabs the first CD in sight and gives her the money for it.

“Do you want me to wrap it for you ?”

- asked the girl smiling again. He answered : Yes.
Slowly he goes to the back of the store, and comes back with the package and gives it to the boy. He takes it and goes out of the store.

He goes back to the house, and starting that day, he would go to the store daily and buy a CD. The girl would alway wrap it, and he would take it and put it in a drawer without even looking at it. He wa to shy to ask her out, and each time he would try to ask her out something inside seem to stop him from speaking.

His mother found out about his crush on this girl and encourage him to try and ask her out. So the next day he goes to the store as usual, and buys a CD, the girl wraps it as usual. He takes the CD and in the moment when the girl wasnt looking he places a piece of paper with his phone number on the counter and runs out of the store.

Dringggggggg.

His mother answers the phone. “Hello?????”. It was the girl, asking about her son. In a lot of grief her mother stars to cry and says :

“Don’t you know ? …. he past away yesterday”.

A long silence set in, interrupted after a while by the mother crying. Later on that day, his mother walked into her son room to feel closer to its memory. She decides to looks through his things. She opened the drawer and finds a bunch of CD’s all wraped, but not even one of them opened. Curiously she takes one of the CD’s and openes it.

At this moment a small paper note fall down from the plastic package. When the mother picked it up .. she could read on it :

” Your are cute! Would you go out with me ? Love you ………… Sofia.”

Full of emotions she opens other CD’s and founds an exact paper note in all of them.

Conclusion:

This is life. Dont wait to long to say to someone special how you feel. Tell her today. Tomorow could be to late.

My IQ Test

April 23, 08 by Gabi Solomon

I’ve seen this on the blog of Mihai Iorga so i decided to take a shot at it :

The Classic IQ Test

My Result: Precision Processor

Take this test!

You’ve got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind. You’re able to whittle even the most complex situation down to comprehensible component parts. In short, you have mastered the art and science of precision. That’s what makes you a Precision Processor.

For you, life is a series of equations. Your brain is naturally predisposed to intense mathematical acuity, and your understanding of numerical problems is unparalleled. It’s second nature for you to cut to the heart of an issue, so that you can discover quick solutions to problems while others get bogged down in unnecessary details.

One Precision Processor that comes to mind is the Greek philosopher-mathematician, Pythagoras. Pythagoras had a mind for numbers and, as such, could come up with previously unknown theories like his method for calculating the sides of a right triangle (a2+b2=c2).
You too, can use numbers to translate aspects of the world around you — something that doesn’t come easily to everyone. Your quick mathematical mind will allow you to communicate a variety of ideas to other people, so don’t keep it to yourself.

Precision Processors can apply their mathematical skills to any situation involving numbers. That’s a talent that will come in handy for everything from the workplace to splitting a bill 12 ways to converting foreign currency in your head. Others often look to you to do the math and luckily, you’re well equipped.

What are you?
