		<description>Thanks for your comment. I think in the end we will go for GIT as it offers better branching/merging support. We will use git-svn to communicate to our overseas svn repository.</description>

		<description>you might run into problems, since subversion is not really build with replica in mind.&lt;br&gt;I eventually gave up on the ideea, but during my research a lot of people keep mentioning   using GIT or another decentralized version control system.</description>

Do you have any experience so far with this in the meantime?
