Recently i posted on google code a library we developed to interact with Adwords Api from php.
Php Adwords API Library was developed by Hyperactive team for an internal project, since we didn’t like options available and felt we could do something that would be easier to work with, at least for us. We made it public so that others looking for a php library to interact with adwords api would have more options to chose from ( plus free testing for us :-p ).
The project can be found here:
http://code.google.com/p/php-adwords-api/
It is still a work in progress and does not yet support all the services and functions of the API, but we hope to add more services as soon as possible. And if you need a certain service or function please dont hesitate to add a ticket on google code and request it.
You will find examples of usage in the folder examples of the library.

It seems to a bit of an old news, but i just found out about it
Google has launched Google Analytics Data Export API beta and is now publicly available to all Analytics users. This i think opens up a whole new realm of possibility in terms of web traffic analysis. And it is a very good news for all companies in SEO and SEM domain.
Imagine accessing all the data from the Google Analytics from your own application, automating reports send to clients.
I am looking forward to see the applications that will be build with the new API.
Cheers

Google announced yestarday on there blog that that they’re ending the agreement with Yahoo made earlier this year that gave Yahoo! the option of using Google to provide ads on its websites (and its publisher partners’ sites) in the U.S. and Canada.
We feel that the agreement would have been good for publishers, advertisers, and users — as well, of course, for Yahoo! and Google. Why? Because it would have allowed Yahoo! (and its existing publisher partners) to show more relevant ads for queries that currently generate few or no advertisements. Better ads are more useful for users, more efficient for advertisers, and more valuable for publishers.

After a lot of rumors about google’s intentions of launching a web browser, and a lot of early screenshots of the application emerging in the blogoshere google has made the official announcement on there blog.
At Google, we have a saying: “launch early and iterate.” While this approach is usually limited to our engineers, it apparently applies to our mailroom as well! As you may have read in the blogosphere, we hit “send” a bit early on a comic book introducing our new open source browser, Google Chrome. As we believe in access to information for everyone, we’ve now made the comic publicly available — you can find it here. We will be launching the beta version of Google Chrome tomorrow in more than 100 countries.
So why are we launching Google Chrome? Because we believe we can add value for users and, at the same time, help drive innovation on the web.
The company is hosting a press conference at its Mountain View, Calif., headquarters Tuesday at 11 a.m. PDT. I will be there and will live blog.
Where can you download Google’s Chrome Browser?
Update: You can download Google Chrome Here.
You cant download it yet, they released a comic book in witch you can see some of the browser features:
- Includes a brand new JavaScript virtual machine called V8
- Tabs wil go above the window, not below the address bar
- Location bar will support auto-complete functions and suggests web pages you’ve previously visited as well as suggested sites you haven’t
- Upon launch, you’ll see an Opera-like speed dial with bookmarks and thumbnails for up to web sites
There will be a privacy mode that allows you to surf without saving any personal history (Microsoft is building a similar feature into Internet Explorer
- The browser will constantly download up to date information about web sites with malicious code
Chrome will also utilize Google Gears to allow you to save many web sites and applications for offline use. And web applications will be isolated from other browser tabs, so if Google Docs or another app crashes, your browser won’t automatically close.

As almost all of my classes i have developed this class for a project requirement, and i decided to make it public on phpclasses.com that is available for download at this link.
This is quite a simple class can translate text, and webpages using Google translate services.
The class usses curl to make a tranlation request to the Google translate Web page and asking for the translation of the given text or URL from the selected from and to languages. The result is parsed to obtain the translation and returned by the class.
The translation class supports all the languages currently available at google including:
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.

Just a few minutes ago i read a shocking news about Google/Yahoo Search Partnership Announcement. It turns out that Yahoo will outsource all or part of Yahoo search marketing, and possibly search itself, to Google.
As this news not yet official but very likely to be true since there have been announces before about this potential partnership, controversial debates about if this is good or bad, and about that a competitive search market is needed for a healthy Internet are starting to apear.
Yahoo and Google will make a joint announcement at 1:30 California time this afternoon and then we will know the oficial side of the story.
Never the less this is big news for the internet marketing, SEO, and Affiliate Marketing industries.
